Issue 002 wants YOU!

Maximum HP Issue #002 is going to be part of the Kickstarter RPG zine Quest for 2020! We are also taking submissions, so get your dice fired up!

What is a Zine Quest?

• Zines must either contain an RPG or feature RPG-related content, like maps, adventures, monsters, comics, articles, and/or interviews.
• Zines must be 5.5” x 8.5” (A5) or smaller.
• Zines must feature one-color printing. Think beyond black ink, or consider printing on colorful paper.
• Zines must be unbound, folded, stapled, or saddle-stitched. No hard cover or perfect binding allowed.
• Campaigns should last no more than two weeks. Keep your project small and doable. In two weeks, you could launch another zine, or just look back proudly on a job well done!
• Launch your project between February 2 and 29, 2020.

We Want YOU!!

Last issue we heard a lot of voices asking if they could make submissions. This issue we are responding with a YES!! Send us your submissions. The guidelines for submission are:

• Must be on theme (Issue #002 is the Underdark – *Note* Drow are albino for, reasons.)
• Keep writing submissions 700 words or less. Up to 1,200 with prior approval.
• EVERYTHING in Maximum HP is 1E based, OSRIC is ok.
• By submitting you agree to release first printing and publishing rights in digital and paper format to Maximum HP Mag and Lloyd Metcalf Inc. Author credits given in text and your submission will be edited for content, spelling, and usage.
• We are looking for: Magic items, spells, short adventures (Think no more than 2 pages), maps, tricks, traps, treasures, NPCs, unique underdark ideas, and short stories or articles.

How to Submit Your Contribution

All submissions must be sent to MaximumHPMag(at)Gmail.com  – before March 7th 2020 with “Submission” in the subject line. Documents may be in word or RTF format.

Art must be submitted in monochrome JPG, TIF, or PNG. resolution must be 300 DPI for grayscale or 600 DPI for line art.

Submission carries no guarantee of publication. Maximum HP and Lloyd Metcalf Inc. carry no ownership of submissions beyond this publication and all submissions must be unique original works. Author carries all responsibilities for original work.
